St. Thomas Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral, Manthalir
Our Youth Association plays an important role in the church activities. They actively involves and supports the Church during various ‘Perunnals’ to make it colourful and Christmas Carol House visit etc.
JSOYA prayer meetings are held on the last Saturday of every month at member’s residence and general meetings are held on every Saturday evening after the Sandhya Prarthana and on Sundays after the Holy Qurbana.
Activities:
1. Conduct prayer meetings on the last Saturday of every month at member’s residence.
2. Actively involves and supports the Church in various Perunnals to make it more colourful.
3. Actively involves in the Church Christmas Carol house visit.
4. Runs a book stall during the Church’s Annual Convention.
5. Distributes tree plants on world environment day every year to encourage awareness and action for the protection of our environment.
6. Prints and distributes Church Calendars.
7. Involves in various charity activities
